Specialized Racing's Troy Brosnan captured his first pro Downhill World Cup victory in Fort William, Scotland! Aboard his Demo 8, Brosnan bested the world's fastest racers at one of Downhill's iconic venues. Troy's win not only makes it two out of three victories for Specialized Racing this World Cup season (Aaron Gwin, Round 1), but also builds great momentum for the next World Cup in Leogang.
Troy joined the Specialized Racing team at age 16. As a junior, he won two World titles back to back in 2010 and 2011.
“Finally, I put it together! I got the win dude, I couldn’t be more happy… To do it at Fort William as well, where everyone says it’s a big man’s track. It just shows you that the little guys can play on any track too.” -Troy Brosnan
