Our sport has come a long way since the Stumpjumper debuted in 1981, but its heart remains true to adventure and premium trail riding performance. The ultra-versatile STUMPJUMPER FSR is available in 650B or 29" wheel sizes. The SJ FSR is fully loaded with advanced features, like AUTOSAG to simplify suspension setup, the Dangler chain retention system to keep the ride quiet, and the internally routed Command Post IR dropper seatpost, so you’re always in the ideal riding position—climbing or descending.
WHAT The most successful high-performance suspension system continually refined over 20 years.
WHY Delivers unsurpassed comfort, control, and efficiency, for less effort on climbs, more traction on the descent and greater pedalling performance.
HOW Strategic pivot points decouple suspension from drivetrain and braking forces to eliminate bob and squat, creating a fully active, fully independent system.
WHAT 29-inch and 650b EVO models with more gravity-oriented geometry and spec, plus longer travel.
WHY To accommodate the many riders who appreciated the precise handling prowess of their Stumpjumper FSR, but were modifying them so they could shred more aggressive downhill lines.
HOW It starts with the EVO geo: a little lower BB for better cornering and a little slacker for more confidence over obstacles or riding steeper sections. This allows us to increase the travel to 150mm on the 650b and 135mm on the 29-inch. The spec includes wider handlebars, bigger tyres, a Command Post, and more robust wheels.
FACT IS CONSTRUCTION
WHAT FACT IS carbon frames used on all carbon Stumpjumpers. EVO models features full M5 rear end.
WHY Makes our Stumpjumpers the lightest and best riding in their class, without sacrificing strength.
HOW Divides front triangle into two monocoques—with carbon fibres running continuously from tube to tube—for more precise optimisation of tube shapes, sizes, and joints.
TRAVERSE FATTIE WHEELSET
WHAT All-new rims with a 30mm internal width on carbon models and 29mm on alloy (EVO models only).
WHY Wide rims provide better control and traction due to increased stability and the ability to run lower tyre pressure without the risk of "rolling" a tire.
HOW Utilizing our Zero Beak Hook design and an all-new 30mm internal width rim (29mm on alloy rims), the Traverse Fattie provides a tubeless-ready, stable wheel configuration by dispersing a rider's tyre contact patch over a wider area of terrain.
WHAT Revolutionary Specialized technology, manufactured by FOX, automatically sets the proper sag and air pressure in your shock.
WHY Quicker and easier sag adjustment that guarantees the perfect setting for optimal suspension performance.
HOW When a rider sits on the saddle, a specially designed transfer port in the shock releases air pressure until a set level, based on the rider’s weight, which equalises the positive and negative chambers. At this point the shock is at the perfect sag.
