Our Competitive XC Geometry serves a very specific function—going as fast as possible. Of course, shear speed means nothing without handling and stability capability, which is why this no-compromises geometry has been the force behind numerous World Championships. It features ultra-short chainstays for nimble handling and direct power transfer, while the head and down tube angles are steeper than what's found in our Trail Geometry for the same reason. For maximum efficiency on the flats and climbs, Competitive XC also features a comparatively shorter wheelbase to better utilize pedal force. And for descents, it uses a roomy top tube that inspires confidence over technical sections and a relatively low bottom bracket height for stability through corners.
FACT CARBON FSR FRAME
Whether you're going up or down the trail, it's no secret that lighter is faster. That's why our engineers obsessively work at refining our carbon frames to shave every non-essential gram. At the same time, every tube's shape and location is scrutinized, resulting in a sleek, stronger design that's optimized for utility. In terms of efficiency, it also allows for internal cable routing, massive bottom bracket shells, 142mm or greater rear hub spacing, and a tapered head tube. And for handling, FACT IS carbon frames permit a FSR 6-Pack or Concentric shock linkage for the perfect pivot location and suspension movement. In real-world terms, this equates to smoother, more responsive travel for an unparalleled ride quality.
Brain suspension technology was developed to deliver the utmost in efficiency on the trail. Whether it's at the front or rear of a bike's suspension, Brain is able to differentiate between rider input and trail bumps, ensuring that your pedaling forces aren't being wasted in compressing the suspension. But how does it work? Well, when you encounter a bump, the patented Inertia Valve disengages. This allows the oil to flow, which means that the shock immediately transitions from firm to fully active. When pedaling, however, Brain technology works to keep the suspension firm in order to maximize pedaling efficiency. Meanwhile, the easily accessible Brain Fade dial allows you to fine-tune how firm the shock is when not hitting bumps.

COMMAND POST XCP
The Command Post XCP is intended for use on cross country bikes with 27.2mm seatpost diameters, or for any bike where every gram is accounted for and scrutinized. Along these lines, it features a svelte carbon fiber construction that's produces a drastically lower weight than its other Command Post brethren. And in terms of travel, you get 35mm worth and two height adjustable positions, with the movement being cable actuated for less weight and broad compatibility. With the simplified setup, you'll be able to move between your descending and climbing position with ease, while also saving a hefty amount of weight along the way.
