Recall SRAM Hydraulic brake

Wednesday, December 18, 2013

By now, you’ve probably heard about the recall of hydraulic disc and rim brakes that SRAM recently announced sramroadhydraulicbrakerecall.com and you might be wondering how it might affect you..

First and foremost, it’s important to know that the SRAM recall only affects the below Specialized model year 2014 road bikes which are spec’d with SRAM Hydraulic Brake Systems

2014 S‐Works CruX Carbon Red Disc
2014 CruX Pro Race Carbon Disc Red
2014 CruX Expert Carbon Red Disc
2014 Crux Sport E5 Apex Disc
2014 S-Works Roubaix SL4 Red Disc C2
2014 Roubaix SL4 Sport Sram Disc C2

The bad news is anyone who has one of the above model year 2014 bikes equipped with a SRAM Hydraulic Brake System (disc or rim) must stop using the bike immediately.
The good news is that going forward, our number one concern is getting you back on the road as quickly and safely as possible, so please rest assured that we're working closely with SRAM on their solution and will report back as soon as we possibly can.

Please keep yourself updated onsramroadhydraulicbrakerecall.com and contacted your Specialized dealer to learn more about how to proceed.
