FutureShock and AFR Shock Performance Guarantee


Dear Specialized Rider,

The FutureShock Performance Guarantee (FSPG) is quite simple - Specialized will stand behind the materials and workmanship of any Specialized branded fork or rear shock for a full five years.

We are launching this industry-leading program because at Specialized we hold ourselves to extremely high standards in supporting our customers. We understand our customer's needs for maintaining high performance suspension. We are dedicated to exceeding your expectations in performance, quality and service. By properly maintaining your Specialized bicycle equipped with AFR, and/or FutureShock suspension components, your suspension will perform at its best and it will remain covered by our 5 year suspension guarantee.

WHO

  • Original owners of any FutureShock suspension fork or AFR shock whom follow the manufacturer service schedule*

    • WHAT
  • If an eligible purchaser of any FutureShock suspension fork or AFR shock, experiences a manufacturer defect or has an issue with workmanship during the first 5 years of ownership; Specialized will repair or replace it at Specialized's option for a period of 5 years from the original purchase date
  • This FSPG excludes damage due to a crash or abuse. Owners are responsible for maintaining their suspension service record.

    • HOW
  • Riders need only bring their bike to an authorized Specialized retailer.
  • Proof of purchase and component service record may be required
  • If there is an issue due to manufacturer defect or workmanship, Specialized will either repair or replace the suspension component.
  • If the problem or concern stems from a lack of service, crash or abuse, or if the concern is found to be a result of normal use, any service performed will be the responsibility of the consumer

    • WHEN
  • The FSPG is in effect now.

    • *Routine service, as outlined by Specialized in suspension manuals that can be found online here, must be completed by a qualified dealer or Specialized service center. If proof of said maintenance is not completed, the FSPG is invalid.
